By George!...You're clearly rocking the house with all this great stuff...Great collection!...Agree with Mark, so much so, in fact, that I might just toss up a batch of my own old school faves...Hey, that's just the way I roll....word up...(and a thumb as well)...;)

Sorry it took so long for me to comment, but this is yet another winner, Sam.  Love the concept and the choices...You rock, as always...Thumb's up...:)

Not a single name here is familiar, but I am always ready to meet some new Power Pop.

Well, I have been known to say that if the third digit ain't a "6" it ain't really soul. But I have heard a few of these artists lately, like Sharon Jones and Leela James, and have been wondering if it is time to reconsider. Looks like a tempting collection.

Nice Bragg choice.

Not much I can say I am familiar with as I'm only really familiar with the classic stuff. But what I do know, I do like, so I'mn definitely going to give this a listen on the weekend, and I'm sure I'm going to be floored by it.

I don't think I'll ever get sick of that Grizzly Bear song... so good. As is the closer. Fantastic mix.

Definitely like the E6 offering here. And nice to see that particular Pavement cut here... a really underrated song in there catalogue.

I still haven't given this a listen to, but I am really looking forward to it. What I know I love. Track 8 on side one sounds interesting!

I still don't get the fuss about MGMT, but I'm digging a lot here as per usual. Love that Patsy Cline and Swell Maps cuts and beautiful closer with Phil Specter.

Wow, what a musical accompaniment. I would only wish my pops could remotely make me something half as cool as this. Personal favs here are the New Pornos track - one of my favourites of the year - and the Yeasayer tune.

Haha, that cover is too funny. What a fun mix. Great collaberation.

Solomon, Hoyt, Junior and Emmylou do it for me here.

Over at pitchfork they just compiled a list of the "best" 200 tracks from the 90's... I think I like this list better!

I do the same with my mixes... they're grouped together in subsections of 3 to 4 songs which I think absolutely work and flow together nicely.

I like what you created here. The Doug Martche/Sonic Youth pairing is very nice. I'm also digging the final three here.

Perfect long weekend mix right here. Full of energy and killer guitar licks. Can't wait to give this a listen.

I heard Strwberry Letter 23 every day at lunch for my entire Sophmore Year of High School. Earth Wind and Fire and the O'Jays definitely made the disco era more bearable. Nice selections here.
